There is no 1385 Jutras in its heritage as far as I know. But I do like its genetics and what it has done. I was thinking about introducing some 1385 Jutras genetics straight from a 1385 Jutras plant into its genetics.
Thoughts, comments are welcome

I am a big fan of both the 1303-Sweet and the 1385.5-Jutras, but I believe the paternal grandsire of 1303 was the 1385.5-Jutras. Also the dam of 1385 was the 1161-Rodonis which has a very similar pedigree to the 1385. Even so, I think it would be a very worthwhile cross to make.

Sorry, I meant the dam of the 1303 was the 1161 which has a pedigree very similar to the 1385.

I grew the 1303 Last year and it was a great plant to grow, no issue at all. I grew a 1450 off it in very tough growing conditions. I am growing the 1303 again this year. So, as for the genetics behind it, I really don't care because it is proven to grow big ones and is a great plant to grow...good enough for me.

Very easily trainable voracious growing plant. It was a go getter from right out of the gate. Many pics from my diary last year of the plant and pumpkin in all stages. Trouble free plant in worst conditions I have ever grown in. My particular 1303 that grew my 1354 had the somewhat more emerald darker green leaves....the ones that will need some misting or cloth in high heat and sun combo days to avoid burnt leaves on young leaves. It reminds me of the 991 in many ways in plant growth...nice big vines but easily trainable when younger....then keep getting thicker all season.

Funny you mention that shazzy. I grew the 991 last year also and the plants were identical all year.
