Does the name of the seed chamge when the plant was self pollinated, or do they retain the name of the mother?
For example, I grew a 260.5 Clementz plant that produced a 168 pound melon. The melon was self pollinated. Does the new seed beome the 168 Hooper '13, or are the seeds still called 260.5 Clementz?
What about an open pollination?
