When now we have to give giant pumpkins a better shape, we should not use the genetic impasse from 845 Bobier´s fishwaste to the 2009 Wallace´s crazy pudding. Let us do the new beginning with the former world record 1092 Burke 98. There is selfed seed around, and it germes pretty well, although it is ten years old. I want to use the two times selfed 935 Lloyd 97 as pollinator for hybrids of interspecific and intergeneric crossbreeding with C. maxima growth habit to do double and triple cross hybridisation and found new lines for giants. We won´t name them AGs then. I have decided now: Let us grow Lloyd Giants!

Lloyd´s Giants are grown by club growers, who are able to keep distance to AGs.
