I often wander why the 1674.5 hasn't been planted much? I have one and may try it this year.

The 1674.5 was a most scallopizing fruit with that double dominant SDBE (short distance between ends) and double dominant MCCIB (maximizing circumscribed circle in-between) from the Wallace´s pollinator with so much 1068 in it´s genes. Although the 1674.5 Connolly 10 had not so much weight as the mother 1725, it was improved for growing much more weight in it´s progeny, because the scallopizing shape you can better and more expand. I don´t like such fruit´s, since I don´t grow in your competition style, but as you can see in the 2009, this style is best for records. And I already told you in late Novemer, that I respect the work of Jamie Johnson and think that he grew a basis for a new world record. If you grow in a greenhouse, Slim, you will be able to make the long ton as the first grower with this combination. But as I always say: this is not my way to grow, since I´m not weight-accicted and I always grow three or four fruits per plant.

Please also grow 1220.5 pollinated by the 1674.5! This might become a very wide fruit with the largest circumscribed cirble in-between ever grown. Oh, I love the term "short-high-wide", as Len Stellpflug said here for his fruit from a 1009.5 Eaton: http://www.bigpumpkins.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=52 Good Luck!

Slim,
Wait, how did you cross ot with the 1220 is the 1220 is 1421x220? The 220 was only availible for growing this year! So that would be impossible. Are you sure that the cross isnt 1674 x 1421 which you crossed with the 220 this year?

The 220 DeBacco was the pollinator with the 1421 Stelts female which grew the 1120.5 Johnson in 2013

Ashton Hows it going.Got the 1220 from Arvadaboy. He grew it last year.lol New year is confusing everyone.I still have a 1479 Parenty (1401 Wallace x 1161 Rodonis)heavy 19% that may fit in there some where too.I wouldn't have these if another grower hadn't been so nice to have given them to me.I also have a 20 x 10 x 6 ft greenhouse coming for a better start on the season.

What is the cross on the 1401 Wallace? That 1479 Parenty looks like an interesting seed...

That Parenty does look really good and will see dirt, but limited space will only get it about 225 square ft.I also have more seed on the way,so that may change every thing again.
