I had some crosses that didn't make it. 2 were my fault and the other just rotted and I didn't see it coming. There is no measurements. Is it worth saving seeds? Would anybody look for crosses versus weights? Or just give them to anybody who wants a giant pumpkin seed?

Having seeds with good genetics is just as important as heavy weight, you should try to save the seeds.

If viable, clubs always can use some to send in their yearly give away packets. You'd just have to donate them or you could grow yourself if you really favor the cross.

Yep, ask yourself, 'If I had to choose between growing this one or another given germination health was equal?' It's been suggested or encouraged, to 'grow one of your own seed' each year. You never know when someones going to get a monster from a 'throw away' or as I call them 'practice seeds'!!!!

There is a good chance you have some viable seeds there! Next move is up to you! I based my buying on my skill level! Novice. I spend my money on what I must have to grow and maintain as healthy a plant as I can, next is seeds. I don't think I have to buy seeds from now on, but it's fun to, and helpful to the clubs fund raising!
