Should properly be listed as 1317 x "Multiple Pollinators"

That would mean that some seeds would be x "Ronbo" and some x "Papbo", but the genetics are not mixed.

Yes, the genetics are mixed. Same reason we differentiate between selfed seeds and sibbed seeds.

When I say mixed I mean that it isnt 1317 x ronbo x papbo at the same time?

I think he meant rondo X papbo X 1317 X dolly.
I could be wrong though.

It means if you grow one seed it should be great if you grow a second seed it could even be better.

I used 4 flowers Your odds are 75% you get the 2009 Wallace Papbo the 1768. 25% you get Ronbo the 1395.5 Clementz.Either way it will grow over 2000 lbs IMHHO.I feel the odds are better this way.not worse. If it was one flower and there all bad there all bad. With 4 from nice shaped fruits. Its only better odds.I did the same thing with Tiny 1317,Some orange and some creme fruits. Its still a controlled cross. Not OPEN by any sense of the word.

excuse me so I dont start more confusion,The 1317 Clementz was multiple flowers from the same plant. The 2009 wallace that split sideways at about 300lbs.Then grew another 300 lber there after. My nitrogen was jacked in the soil.I always pollinate with multiple flowers and come back in 20 minutes and we do it again.all controlled pollinations.Wait to you see what I grow from these seeds in the future. The 1947 will rock!!

I think the 1947 will grow a world record. The cross will make the 2009 taller & wider & possible orange. When I cut her open she is perfectly built 7 to 10 inches everywhere, blossum end 3-4 inches thick.Taller wider uniform.I didnt hear of any blossom end splits.Support a club this season Buy a seed!!

Hey Bubba how come your seed envelope for the 1947 doesnt say Mulitple Pollinators??? Kinda of confusing dont you think? Do you do this on all your crosses? I like to keep my genetics lined up best that I can anywise...
