I still scratch my head as why theres not more self polls I am going to put 2009 x 2032 in the ground this year 2 outstanting crosses why not self poll ?

1725 harp-great selfed seed. 2009 wallace great out cross. No figuring crosses on paper-too many variables- all crosses are a hit or miss proposition. Selfing is a sound strategy - locking traits in takes 3 generations in a hobby thats moving fast forward over three years
