Hi! If anyone has grown either the Fulk 1744.5 or Werner 1730.5 could you let me know how it turned out for you? I really like the data that I've seen for both seed types, but there isn't a lot of information out there on either one of them. It appears that neither one has been planted as much as some of the other proven seeds out there. Also, if anyone is growing one of them this year, how is it turning out so far? Thanks!

My 1730 started with 1 1/2 cot leaves and then got hit with a dose of frost. It was competing with its offspring the 2008. I babied the plant and tried to get it to come back and it did however when it came time to choose the keeper the 2008 got the nod. At the stage they were at end of May, the 2008 was a much better plant. They went in the ground together on April 21. I really hated to pull the 1730. It was one of my favorite picks this year. The 2008 turned out to be a very good plant so far. My set is at 30 days. It looks like it will be an orange pumpkin, a very nice shape and size for 30 days. If I could get another 1730, I would plant it next year.

My 1730 Werner is currently my largest plant and fastest growing fruit, over 500 pounds at day 33. Love the seed.

I've grown the 1730.5 twice. The first was last year and got a personal best of 1400. It went 1% heavy to chart. I have a1730.5 currently in the patch and the fruit was doing well with similar gains to last year's into the first week of August. A big wind and hail storm destroyed the plant two weeks ago which was a big blow. THe fruit coninutes to grow but at a much slower rate now. Great seed though, and would grow it again in a heartbeat.
