Not a heavy hitter but. Pumpkin fanatic tools has tons of info on seeds. The GPC info page has a list of all pumpkins at weigh offs this year, find the genetics that are knocking the pumpkins out of the park!

After going back and looking at the top 40 pumpkins this year. It could be anybody's game. The mother seed was different in about 36 pumpkins. I didn't look at the fathers side but most were different. Of course the biggest seed will always be most wanted. But I think it really is anybody's game.

The 1738 Barron grew 2 pumpkins at the Gary Green house weigh-off that weighed + 20 and +22. looks like Barron seeds tend to go heavy.

2036 Glasier looks good. It grew the two biggest at Anamosa, plus a 914 for a 2nd year grower. We had one that put out a main ribbon vine, but we grew 2 on secondaries that totaled nearly 1300#
