I am just wondering if anyone has heard of my plants I'm growing this year. the parents of 1583 Suchanek are 1750 Martin 2014 and 1620 Meeting 2014.

for 1506 gates mother 1253 Kline 2013 and the father 1245 Berard 2013 and the gates grandparents on her mother's side are 1489 Kline 2011 x 1596 Wallace 2010. gates grandparents on her father's side are 2009 Wallace 2012 x self.

I have one really good plant the 1583 Suchanek 2015 growing like a champion. and for the other guy well my best one of the two got eaten by my cat. and the second has been playing catch up with the other one.

question even if my 1506 isn't going to be as big as my 1583 should I still cross pollinate?

and when does everyone start switching fertilizers to grow the pumpkin?

thanks for your time I'm just getting into growing big pumpkins I grew a 180 pound pumpkin out of seeds from rko couple few years ago. I have just been researching the ins and outs of big pumpkins. n decided it's time to try again lol.

CaZ, I don't know about pollination possibilities, but guessing if controlled pollinations are made, the results are endless. Guessing that the ferts to grow pkn, are needed when you have a pkn growing. I am also trying to grow one again after several years of not doing so. Day 13 or so post pollination, I measured 86" ott.
