I've seen a lot of people talk about crossing back a seed to one of it's parents or grandparents. Can someone point me to where this has led to a pumpkin that met up to its lineage either in size, shape, or color?

Thanks,

Matt

My 642.5 from this year was grown from a crossback seed the 125 Chambers so I guess it meets your size criteria.

How about the 940 Mombert as a more well known example.

Matt...If you have AGGC access then go to the "queries" section and there's pumpkins that have been crossed that way. Seperate lists for crossbacks to maternal or paternal.
