For some of the more "in demand" or hard to get seeds, has anyone shipped pollen out to other growers who may want what's in your patch?

Its been tried along with refrigerating male flowers to use a day or two later after opening. the pollen is only viable for a few hrs after the male opens in the morning..so shipping males and driving to a grower near you has to keep the viability in mind. You can pick males in the evening the day before theyre gonna open and use those the following am.

I think, that anthers are two days workable, when I spray plants two times with foliar fertilizer Ca+B the weeks before flowering. Where is pumpking? We could try my approach by dispatching pollen from Bavaria to Saxony late June or early July.

In 2001 Ken overnighted me some male blooms and I did end up with a fruit.
