With everything we know(or don't know) about genetics, are we increasing the mutant plant percentages(probability) by selfing our seeds? BF

not exactly, but taken to the extreme i think it will bring out some mutations (mainly a greater tendency for flat/ribbon vines) with excessive selfing. selfing one or two generations won't hurt anything and actually should be encouraged more often than it already is. from my own personal experience, i've seen an increased number of flat vines from the 1092 burke, as well as the successive selfed offspring seeds i have personally made with that line.
