the lyons 900.5 1994 was listed in guinness as world record
squash.

the 900.5 grows pumpkins and squash, it grew the 1010 Hoult, which was actually the first 1000 pound pumpkin, in 1995. The pumpkin was dropped and broken at the competition, but the pieces were weighed. It was the mother of both the 611 and 862 Hester as well. The 746.8 grew the 1009 Scherber, which is to my knowlege the CO state record. I don't remember the cross though.

the 900.5 lyons that dan grew that year threw his 718, which is most definitly a pumpkin.
