Hi my name is Frank, I already have my 3 out of my 4 giant pumpkin seeds for next year, I am looking to purchase my last pumpkin seed and I am looking for suggestions. I would prefer it to big, orange, and beautiful but I am all ears. Thank You

What about the 1746.5 Werner 2016? My other three seeds I choose were for their size, but this seed I would like to grow something that has some looks,

Don't forget to have a couple backup seeds in case one or more don't grow.

Gansert and Young seeds should definitely be in the mix if you're looking for orange

I grew the 1734 last year and it was yellow. Nice shape..wrong color. Have also heard of others that threw yellow.

Our 1748 Gadberry was very orange and 13% heavy. It and our 1405 that grew it are available for cheap on the PGVG auction at BP.Com this coming Sunday.

Have to agree with John on big. The weight can take care of itself.

Ooops. Sorry for the mistake. I was thinking of the 1474 Clementz, when I made my previous post(it's offspring had a nice medium orange color). I did grow the 1734.5 Clementz in 2016, but lost the plant due to a grower error.

Can someone tell me what kin is sitting next to the 1810 werner in the picture on pumpkin fanatics site ? It is Big and Orange. I also am searching for a big and orange. I grew the 2106 schmidt last year and love that color. Can't find a 2106 so tried it's grandparent but got out bid. So need to find a big n orange. The Holland is not orange enough (nice kin tho).Closest I can find is the 1746.5 werner and the 1734.5 clementz. Just want to see what else is out there.

Can someone show me or lead me to a picture of the 1704 Flesher ? The 1501 Wagner was not the one I seen sitting next to the 1810 werner. I am thinking the 1704 is the one due to it's parents 1734clementz x 2309 wallace. Thanks alot for all the help so far. Tim
