I planted four plants of the 186 Radach which was 1561 Reeb x 1912 Carter. The Reeb and Carter pumpkins were both orange selfed pumpkins (1661.5 Werner 2013 x self) and (1750.5 Martin 2014 x self).

Both the 186 Radach and the 770 Radach (the pumpkin off the 1912, which was used as the pollinator) were orange.

The result was four very orange pumpkins. I will post pictures later. The plants were good plants. I would say they did display a degree of hybrid vigor. One negative trait of slightly lopsided pollination and seeds in the blossom did show on one plant.

I can post some pics in my diary in the next couple weeks.

The shapes were not consistent one looked like it wanted to be a wheel on the bottom, taking after the father. Two were nicely "in-between" shaped... very good shape. The third was more of a torpedo, probably taking after the mother.

In terms of isolating very orange genetics, Radach's cross seems to be a success. Orange lines with selfed parents (1109 Borgers for example) might be worth crossing. I think it may be possible to get the best of both worlds... hybrid vigor and orange. Go for it!
