Are there any notable pumpkins grown from seed of the 846 Calai X 723 Bobier(or reverse cross)?

There are many other progeny of this same cross.
Each of the above have grown a significant fruit.

I selfed the 707 in 2003. It was our most agressive start this year & set a fast growing fruit early at my son's school. Though the summer staff at the school manage to severly damage the vines & another staff member poked the fruit (by mistake I hope) full of holes, it did yield more good seeds for a second generation of selfing.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm mainly wondering if there are many large fruit that resulted fron planting seeds from that cross. I would think it has potential for large fruit, being the 1260 Weir(845 Bobier X 846 Calai) has resulted in some large specimens. I have a seed source for this cross lined up. I just wanted to ask this question before I made a final decision. Can anyone tell me of some large fruit that the cross has produced? Thanks.

1088 Van Kooten from the 1005 Mombert Quinn Werner grew 1000+ off the 845 Nesbitt I think Couple of 900+ from the 1038 Emmons Probably more but I'm thinking off the top of my head

my friend Tim Peters has a 400 something kin that is the 741 eaton pollinated with the 1301 eaton which again are going to be all 723 and 846 since both the 741 and the 1301 are reverse crosses of the 842 and the 1236. i will definately be trying one of those seeds next year. he grew the plant in about 275 square feet and lost most leaves early on to powdery mildew.

Thanks for all the replies! I guess with those genetics, you can't go wrong with them. I mean to say that they should have good genetic potential to them.

The 1134 Holland 03, is from the 846.5 Calai x 845 Bobier. My 800 +lbs. is pollinated with a 846.5. Tall, orange, with a big hump.
