Is there some crosses i should look out for. I know i few things about pumpkin genetics, but am still pretty clueless.

nope, there is know way to predict the outcome of any cross.

I guess what i ment is if theirs crosses out thier that are simalar to a another one that produced large pumpkins

There's a ton of great crosses out there that produce big but it doesn't always happen.
Same cross as 723 and 845 Bobier is the 838 and 714 Bobier but these two haven't done anything super for anyone to my knowlege.
Another example of a similar cross that has done well is the 846 Calai x 723 Bobier. Most of these seeds have done well including, 842 Eaton, 419 Pukos, 855 Kuhn, etc...
I think it's a crap shoot such as matfox said and that there is no guarantee about any seed. Until there is a c.max genome project completed there will be no way to determine what any seed can produce and even then the seed will have to be genetically tested and the grower and environmental influences and luck will all have to be taken into account.
Personally, I just want to have fun and I do every year!.....but it is fun in the off-season to ramble about possibilities sometimes as long as everyone does it with respect for the other growers. My two cents.....
