Has anyone here heard of it, or know anything about it? On another gardening forum, someone offering Russian seeds for trade, listed it, stating it could grow up to 500 kg. I emailed them about it, and they said it was an American variety. Is it one that Howard Dill used in the breeding of the Atlantic Giant pumpkin? I was just thinking that maybe it would be worth breeding into the A.G. for hybrid vigor.

I am thinking if someone in Russia grew a 1300 lb pumpkin we would of heard of it...That is unless Jill Pacelli was growing in Russia... I am not saying anything bad about these others gardening sites but most still believe we get pumpkins this big from milk. I would not waste one of my planting sites for this seed.

experimentation is good, but i am of the belief that the hard part was done by Howard Dill, and we are now enjoying the benefits of His work. i believe that it takes several generations of your intentions to begin to realize any new, consistent characteristics in the offspring. but, like i said, experimentation is good...............! good luck......eric

Thanks for the replies. Maybe the name was changed. I just wanted to hear your thoughts on it.
