I am a newb grower who is looking for a good seed to cross with an 845 Bobier f1 offspring seed. Any recommendations? I live in New England. Thanks for your help.

Yomom, i was just kidding about the 572 bosworth seed, its my seed, lol. I do like the color of my smaller pumpkin the 374 though, its like a neon orange. Oics in my diary.

Sly, that IS a cool neon color on your 374! ...And you shouldn't sell yourself short, I'm sure that a lot of the seeds out there like your 572 Bosworth would cross with certain proven seeds to throw a HUGE fruit. To some degree, we're all participating in a genetic lottery and trying to make educated guesses.

Well that 845 offspring better grow this spring cause it's the only seed I've got.

Mr. Seedless, you could do a lot worse than to start out with an 845 Bobier offspring as your only seed. But I'm sure a lot of dudes here can help you out with some "backup" seeds for insurance to get you started in the right direction for the polite asking.
