I would love to purchase from ExtremePumpkinStore, but their shipping prices are out of site. For example, I just bought 50 pounds of Humic acid for $29.00 dollars shipping and handling. I can't see paying $38.00 dollars for shipping mill clothe.

I just can't justify that kind of cost. I will have to look elseware. No offense, I would love to support a grower trying to make a business out of it, but realistically the shipping costs need to come down.

FDR, the shipping on the Mill fabric is at cost, 20 dollars, you should really go to UPS.com and USPS online and try punching in 20 and 50 lbs and see what it costs. Then Call the post office and ask them about different size boxes, try the mill fabric, 5 ft in lenght, you may find that the shipping is fair.
Good luck in your search.

Hey Tom,

Are you telling me that because the mill fabric is 5 feet long I have to have a 5 foot box. I don't think so! Look, all I am saying, I have had a 50lbs of material shipped to me for $26.35 cents to have mill fabric shipped to me for $38.00 dollars is a little much. On top of that I changed my location to bring it closer to you and it was still $38 dollars. You may want to check out what your site is quoting people for shipping it may not be right. I received a quote for $38. for a quantity of of two, which would be 4 pieces of mill fabric. I am sure mill clothe doesn't weigh 50 lbs and the box size should be smaller than what I received. May need to do some more research on shipping. You have great products, and if I could figure out a way to reduce the shipping I will. Have you thought about contacting a sales rep with these shipping companies to see if you can negotiatate a reduced rates?

I charge a flat rate of 20 dollars to ship per 2- 5x5 pieces, and yes the post office absolutely charges more for over sized packages.
If you look at USPS.com and punch in the zip code where it is shipping from , then yours, then 26 lbs for 4 pieces, then 62 inch in lenght, 8 in height and 8 in width, it comes to $33.95, add the 1.00 for tracking and we now are at $34.95.....thats if its not cut just a little off and weighs more....not too far off if I am correct.
If you have any other concerns, feel free to email me.

Owensboro, Ky.

Is the length of the pkg, that is causing the high prices for shipment? Just curious? Peace, Wayne
PS...I ordered a bunch o stuff from Tom, & he went out of his way to repkg. stuff and saved me $40 in shipping costs!!! So, I truly believe, he is doing all he can to minimize costs!!! You GROW Tom!!! Peace, Wayne
