I have asked before and cant remember...to change lbs per acre to ppm....multiply by 2 or divide by 2? Thanks & Peace, Wayne

There is aproximatly 2 million lbs in the top six inches of soil. Therefore 1 part per million = 2 lbs / acre.
This varys by soil texture

yep, divide by 2.

except for P (divide by 4.6)

except for K (divide by 2.4)

except for S (divide for 6)

that is, assuming a 6.5-7 inch plow depth. that's where they get the 2 million pounds from. for 9-10 inches deep, you'll divide by 3.

Thanks all, for now I will divide by 2...until my hard clay gets broken up any deeper than 6 to 7 inches...Andy, why the diff. divide by #'s for diff. chemicals. Thanks again for all the info. Peace, Wayne
