Would like to know where in NE Ohio to get a soil test they send to you.So far every place I found they want $12.00 each to give you bags. Then you fill with dirt take to post office send. Then they get your results back call you and say what you need.

your local agriculture extention in your county~ They will have kits to put samples in and how to take samples, and were to send in your state. (It should be free) it is in NC, and you get a report back. Talk to your local agriculture agent closest to you, yull have to find them, and ask questions, should be in phone book, and see if they offer there reports online too! They know all about the soil in your state, and will give Recomendations. make sure they give you there book on how to read, and understand your report with your soil sample kits.
