Well I think my dreams of a nice Kubota, Deere or similar are too far fetched. I think a much more realistic idea is a "garden tractor." So I have now been looking for a while and most of them are just ride-on mowers (not sure why they call them tractors?) but I am looking for something which I hoped would have a PTO and could drag a plow and ..... My 6.5hp Troy Bilt works well but I would prefer something more powerful and hopefully that could handle a small loader attachment.

Can anyone out there recommend a "type" or brand or ... that I should be looking for? I have seen Simplicity or Ariens or .... Also, do the belt driven tiller attachments work well on these? I have also seen a drag behind tiller option that has its own motor.

Basically I want a very shrunk down proper tractor. My patch is about 5,000sf and I would like to be able to work it properly. Right now I pay $200 a pop to have my tractor guy come out and spend an hour tilling and such. Thanks for any and all input.
