A guy came to work and he runs a grinding facility. He told me about a couple products he has and I was kindoff interested. One product he makes is a sheet rock compost. He grinds this product into a fine powder and sells it for about 10 bucks a yard. It sounds like this would add too much calcium. Any one ever heard of someone using ground up sheet rock in their gardens.

its called gypsum...What he is doing is recycling construction waste. Adhesive and flame retardents have to be some where in the mix. I would stay away for a garden..lawn applications would not be such a big issue.

Thanks shannon I was a little skeptical to say the least. He has another product which he refers to a soil condintioner. Its ground up leaves..aged cow crap..and ground up Maple trees. It looks preety decent though.

Jason, ask him for lab sample results...if he is sellin it, he can afford to have it tested...that way you will know for sure what is in it!!! Peace, Wayne
