Does anyone know what the numbers would be for a perfect soil test? I know the best PH for my patch is 6.8, but what about organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium etc. Thanks

I am sure you will get this answer more than once, but there is none. It depends on you soil type, ie. clay, loam, etc. That being said, if you know your soil type you can then pinpoint a good range to be in for every nutrient.
Send me an email, and if you have had one, your test results. I am making a site which is used for soil analysis. I will show you how to determine your soil type, as well as create an account for you so you can see what you need to do.
