My patch is 1400 sq. ft. My soil test reveals that I have to get my pH and calcium levels up.
pH - 6.3
Calcium - 1052 ppm

I know I have to add approximately 80lbs of pelleted calcium limestone to help bring the pH up. The limestone is rated at 21% calcium
If I also add 80lbs of gypsum will this be to much calcium?

Anyone have a recommendation for bringing potash up from 154ppm to around 500?

That is no where near too much in my opinion. The question is what else is competing in the soil and relative nutrient levels. Do you have the rest of the test? I wouldn't bring the pH up too much, slightly acidic is not a bad thing.

I wouldn't add no lime. I'd leave the pH right were it is. Once you get your pH to high, then it's hard to get it back down. You want your calcium up to 3,000ppm at least.
