Im starting a compost pile for next yr < & its in spot that i let oak leaves sit & there was lots of worms but i put them in patch so Im now starting new pile , so far iv put 4 bales of straw & fresh horse manure on top with oak leaves on top of that with some dirt , sprayed mollassas on & watered , its warm inside now , but i want to build it up over the summer & I have access to fresh horse manure ,& my oak trees shed leaves all yr , BUT QUESTION IS ? WILL FRESH MANURE, MIXED WITH OTHER STUFF EVENTULY ATTRACT WORMS ??

once the pile cools down from composting heat the worms will like it

it definatley has to cool down. over 85 degrees the worms will die. , if the bottom of the pile is cooler, they will stay there until the pile cools down. the worms will most likely not survive in your garden unless you keep lots of compost and moisture in there. Red worms, composting worms, are not soil dwellers.
