Our State Coop gives free soil tests, are there any differences in a test from a tester like UMass or C and J Fertilizers? My local does include an organic matter percentage.

Try to catch up with Sambo, Carolina fisherman, or RogNC here on this site. They are all in NC and can probably tell you the best way to go.

Cool Thanks Mark. One of them already said they used the State service. Just trying to get a general idea, I think I will give them a try.

Rick, I use A & L Labs West for soil test and plant tissue testing. Cost is $32 for soil test.
