The numbers to our left are west end of garden and the middle says what it is an analsis of such as Organic Matter and the second set of numbers same line is east end of garden! I hope that eliminates confusion!

I made a remark to your other posting first....and now I see these numbers ! North, south, east, west. At least you are focusing on multiple locations and not just one....yet one can see how certain frustration can occur.

When in doubt stay with the compost enhancement and adding those natural supplements that FEED the microbial activity in (any normal) soil. Microbes, beneficial "bugs" in the soil, enzymes, humic acids, earthworms, and more mature and properly-cured composts will make that soil better than any suite of "chemicals" as so guided by lab test results !

Avoid the traditional pelletal-bead chemical fertilizers !

So if I am understanding you correctly....you are saying do not add gypsum or whatever. Instead add additional compost and test again! Is that correct?

and as for suite of "chemicals" as so guided by lab test results I have no desire to spend $140 per gallon to correct any defiancy any lab test may discover. This garden is relatively new as I broke sod last year and this year and with ammendments will be my pumpkin garden in 2010. As for this year I am raising vegetables here in 2009.
