I want to send out a soil test ...where should I send it and how do I obtain my samples ...I heard a sample from the hill and two other locations in the patch and mix it up in a zip lock bag ...any info would be helpful ..

I,m sure Brian will go to the AL labs (Modesto) site and then say "OK, of all the possible analysis, which one do I order?"
Which do most people recommend??

S3C, just sent mine out yesterday. With the recommendations and graph ( $1.00 for each of those), the total is $33.00.

I highly recommend A&L Labs in Modesto, great link Todd.
I'll be more than happy to help you read the test results and make recommendations when you get the results back.
Select "email", you'll get the results back faster.

BIG SHOW DOG, take your report to a grist mill and I am sure they will read it and tell you what you need

Thanks, Tallcorn. I like that idea, but I am up against the clock now! I've got to put several out within the next week. Patch wide ammending is now over! But I'll do what I can as the season goes along. I know my patch will be a work in process for several years just get it decent! BSD, David
