Hi, I have very high levels of the following:
Phosphorus: 1430 ppm Potassium: 1600 ppm Magnesium: 490 ppm
What can I do to lower this high levels to prevent locking other nutiants un the soil?
Thank you!

I think as long as everything else is high it should be fine, I think it is the balance of nutrients that counts.I have very high phosphorus in my vegetable garden and was told to add potassium, nitrogen, and organic matter to balance it out. I do not think you can take any of the nutrients out of the soil just as you can't take flour back out when you put it into cake mix.

X potassium will leach out with water.A lot of us colorado growers have high K cause we dont get much moisture in the winter to leach the soluble minerals. Also your pumpkin plant will consume a lot of k during the season.I wouldnt worry about it.Dont try to lower anything just make sure soil amendments dont increase these levels
