I was wondering if someone who knows a little more than me would have a Min to take a look at my soil test and offer some advise. I have been unable grow the big one.. I went to a weigh off and one of the growers told me to get a soil test.. Here is the results..
Phosphorus (P) 340 Potassium (K) 345 Soil (PH) 7.6 Buffer (PH) 7.4 Calcium (CA) 9911 Magnesium (MG) 972 Zinc (ZN) 28.1
The test says it could not calculate the CEC data because the PH was to High.. The Kentucky extension office is saying bring the PH down but from what I read on some of these boards, Some like a higher PH.. Next year will be my 4th attempt at the big one, No monsters yet... Thanks for any help you could provide..

you need a full test, this is only a partial. Try using A&L labs west in Modesto California, Western labs in Parma Idaho, or Midwest labs in Omaha Nebraska. They are familiar with giant pumpkin growers.
You want the S3C test at any of these labs.
