Hi, this might be a new one, i have got my soil tests back but our lab doesn't give out the figures in ppm, still trying to contact them to see if they can tell me what the figures are in ppm. Not sure if anyone here can help, but it would be greatly appreciated if anyone can. Below are the Calcium, Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorous figures they have given me
Calcium (Amm-acet.) cmol(+)/kg 11.00 Calcium (Amm-acet.) % 60.00 Nitrate Nitrogen (NO3) mg/kg 16.00 Ammonium Nitrogen mg/kg 10.00 Phosphorous (Colwell) mg/kg 16.00 Phosphorous Buffer index (PBI-Col) 350.00 Potassium (Amm-acet.) cmol(+)/kg 0.64 Potassium (Amm-acet.) % 3.50 Available Potassium mg/kg 250.00
The desired results that i was hoping to get around was. Calcium 2,000 - 3,000ppm Nitrogen 20 - 50ppm Phosphorus 25 - 50ppm Potassium 250 - 400ppm.
If anyone is able to help convert, it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

To convert from ppm (wt basis)to lbs/acre the equation is:
ppm in soil X 2 = lbs/acre (where weight of an acre furrow slice 6 2/3" deep is assumed to be 2 million pounds) So to convert from lbs/acre to ppm divide by 2.
**Your results are in kg so you have to convert to lbs first. 1 oz = 28.349 grams 16 oz = 1 lb

Just asking, If we take the NO3 number above, and it says he has 16 mg / kg, they wouldn't that work out to 16 ppm?
.016 X 1000000 / 1000? or did I do that wrong for the garden?

Hi, sorry, i have been advised it was better to post up the complete soil test results. I might have missed asked the question as i can convert mg/kg to ppm but where i have it saying: Calcium cmol(+)kg 11.00 for instance, i am kind of having issues converting that to ppm. Below is complete test results, if anyone can help out with the conversion to ppm is would be greatly appreciated. I figure then i can go for there to see what i am short on

Thanks for the quick reply. By the looks of that, it should be pretty close as it is. Not sure if i really have to add anything.
What do people here think, Calcium looks to be ok, maybe a tad low on Potassium and Phosphorous?
Maybe a just need to add some Nitrophoska to balance them out a little? Area is 120 square meters, so around 1291 square ft.
