I just purchased Sulfur for my pH correction and Green Sand for my trace element support. My question is should I add them now or wait until it is closer to planting time?

Special thanks to Tremor and docgipe for their input on my soil test. :-)

Matt........this is a strange winter. If you can till them in without destroying your patch go for it. You will not get a PH adjustment applied to this year if you wait until spring. Green Sand can go in anytime....but I favor fall for ammendments and additions in as much as possible.

That's my common sense factor...Any mistakes made have a few months to mellow should you make one. The adjustments have a few months longer to comingle and become a ballanced part of your total.

If you till now....by all means give it a dose of fish, kelp and molasses too. Can't do any harm and may well yet do some good if we continue to have a mild winter.

I just added a bucket full of coffee grounds and the above to my patch this week. I have a cover crop in so do not wish to till at this hour. I could have this week!

It's a concensus. As long as you can work the soil, then go ahead. Just run the tiller a bit first to be sure you can till. If so then get it done.
I wouldn't spread the stuff then wait. You don't want it sitting on top of frozen ground.
