I'm tired of waiting for my test results to come back from WVU. I'm changing to A&L Eastern Labs. Could someone plese recommend the test/tests I should have done? Also, will A&L e-mail the results? Thanks

A&L will email ya the results if you check that box, the S3 is the test you want. http://www.al-labs-west.com/agriculture.htm#1

I would also recommend contacting Craig Lembke at craig@candjfert.com, or go to his web site at www.candjfert.com, his company provides soil analysis, and you get the bonus of having Craig give you expert recommendations on that analysis.

Thanks Tom. I thought I read in another post somewhere that it was the S3 test, but I couldn't remember for sure.

I sent mine off to WVU over a month ago. I usually go to the county extension agent and get the kits and send them off. But every year it gets slower and slower. I don't know of any place in Belmont County unless it's a county extension office for OU.
I sent an e-mail off to A&L Eastern Labs yesterday and still have not heard back from them. I'm becomming concerned about their turn around time now.

Monty,

Every gardener in the country waits until about now to send in their soil for testing. The lab had to pay the people who work for them the other 11 months too. Yep, turn around time suffers. The option I guess would be to use a commercial lab but they get backed up this time of year too.
