Any results from Kyogle?

Hi Clinton I wasn't able to fly up to attend the weigh off, but Dale rang me that afternoon with the results. If my memory is right 1st place was 367.5 kg grown by Mr Leadbeater. There were a few others just less than that. There was about 21 giant pumpkin entries. A few big ones didn't make it to Kyogle and a couple of big ones have been kept for the Sydney show. There was also a few big watermelons at the weigh off, the winner was 82.5 kg and 2nd was 80 kg. Both were grown by 2 young boys. (not sure if they were grown on the same plant or not ) I'm sure Dale will post some pics in his diary soon.
