This normally belongs to the seed trade section but I thought you southern guys might be most interested...

I have an extra 600.5 Gregory seed up for trade. If interested, contact me.

The 600.5 is one of the best, if not the best, seed for hot climates and you guys can probably do it more justice than I could....

Not to be a pest or anything.....but your basing this "if not the best seed for a hot climate" on 4 progeny.....and two are under 700lbs?.........

Well, that was my own observation, G.

*I* would say the 600.5 is best for hot climates, then the 950.4 Boyton and then the 845 Bobier 00.

The 600.5 grew a very nice 1000 pounder for Carlos in Spain and he had terrible heat that year.
It also grew well for Ben in hot Australia until his plant showed severe mildew problems....

Email me your address and I will send a SASBE to you... Looks like I'm going to have over 15 different varieties in my 'hot climate GP' experiment... would be a good indication on which ones do better. Same soil, same garden, same care, same climate, same year - and in the long hot & humid summer in the state of Tennessee!
