I started one set of my pumpkins on April 16, was that to early to start them. Since i was gone for several weeks during the blooming process i missed my chance to get a pumpkin so i started another group about a week ago and they are doing great. I was just wondering if by the time the first frost comes will my new set have pumpkins on it that are fully developed?

Here I am again...from what I know (limited) approx. 60 days of plant growth...and then anywhere from 50 to 90 days of 'kin growth. Am curious to why your 4/16 plants don't have 'kins growing...or at least females on them. Heat is a killer for females and pollination. Did Dennis terminate your early plants? Ask ?'s and you probably will get answers. That's the best part about this site. Have fun. Peace Wayne
