I stand corrected by Ole Longbeard. 1269. My problem is I have heard that the Reiss 1269 is having difficulties . I have 2 very nice growing babies, one from a known Langevin seed. I dont know if Im going to put the Reiss into the a new patch that doesnt have all the efforts that the main patch has. .....Manure, Agro-K innoculations and almost perfect soil analysis.......Oh the worries!!!

Wiz, Your getting confused. The Reiss is the 1233.5 and the Macari is the 1073. You been out in the sun to much bro? Me and the BossLady will try to come by some time this weak to check out the new clouche.

By the way my Reiss seed is out of the cooler looking a little yellow but today is it's first day in real sunlight. The 1073 Macari is moving dirt and should be up this afternoon. ...LB

Wouldn't know cause I never did get a 1233.5 or the 846 seed I won in the guess the weight of the 1233.5 contest. Thats ok though, got some better seeds instead.

umm what's going on it's the 1173 Macari right? I traded one for the 1101 Northrup but I wouldn't trade a 1233 Reiss it's all about orange- believe it!

LongBeard, Master, once again you are right. I have been in the sun too much, so has my cloche. I just wish I could be home monitoring and working on this but these damn bills just dont go away. My Reiss is starting to pick it up a bit with the first leaf, and close to the ground, stem is stockier than the Kline and the Lang . I will go with the Kline 1269 and the Reiss 1233 in the penthouse even though the Lang is so looking good. Next years project is to kick up patch # 2 with manure and a rudimentary hoop house without the dual sprinkler system overhead. I need to order my misters as it looks like its going to hit 90 by Friday and I wont be ready. Im keeping the BB's in the pen until I can get this temp swing under better control. But I do want to plant em soon. Ill check out the other info. Thanks for all your help. Hope to see ya soon. Good Luck to all. Grow em Big

Apparently I've been out in the sun a little to long myself. Orangeneck you are absolutely right 1173 Macari not 1073.
