How are we doing this year? Some say we are slightly ahead of our Northern brothers and sisters at this point (guess we should be).

What are your tapes saying?

Anyone having any particular limiting factors yet?

Gonna have to hang with Mr glover , and say :-) Until i know witch ones are in it for the long haul, but right now doing good some stem stress prb, and we have a longer window of growing in the south, but we are limited to the climate

Don't be scared, all that was asked is what the tape says, not if ya can smile. They're in the ground now, might as well talk about em, ain't like you can make em grow any faster than you already are. :->

I will weigh and post pics of my first loss of the year. I knew it was coming, but i didn't want it to decide when it came off. My 869.5 fruit started out grwing fine, then at about day 8, the blossum end quit growing. The stem end grew like a wheel, and on day 26, it cracked 4 places on the flesh around the stem. I filled it with fungicide, but this morning, after the rain last night, they were all huge cracks. Hopefully going to be able to pollinate another one for genetics and a local fair.

My wife had some offers fer N.C. this week...Is there room for another N.C grower? If we moved,it would probably be in the Charolette area... If not N.C,,then it could be Auburn,Ala...

Davie co. 15miles west of Winston salem, I still have you 517 glover, and a couple more you sent me ,a couple years ago there going to see dirt in 07 going to clear out some more land. if you had planted that 735 pukos up here that year, it would have been 1017 glover, lol i know you guys are way hotter than us, and the humidity. with your knowlege of southern growing , you will be one to reckon with.
