Just wanting to get a rough estimate of who all will be in attendance, and who will be bringing something to this weigh-off this year. Maybe we can plan in advance a dinner afterwards, like we did spur of the moment last year.

I will be there, hopefully will still have a pumpkin to bring.

Brad I know of 5 or 6 thst will not be there, mine and my son Joe's included...lost my mine on day 43 due to decay beneath stem that I did not see until it was to late. it was over 400 when that happened. Joe and Hoyt's split on blossom end on day 40 it was in the high 3's. Several growers have called to say their's are lost or will not make it until 10/20. I am making sure the Festival committee I am on is hearing all of this, I am already lobbing for an eariler date for next year. The good news is I have heard from several who have some very good size fruit that think they will hold up until the big day!
