There is Dave Ellison in Carroll Co. and Andy Edger in St. Mary's Co. unless you're him lol. Also Tom Valentour is not far from you in Fredericksburg VA. I grew last year in Howard Co. before moving to PA late in the season. See my 2005 journal in the grower diary section. Where are you located? I will do anything I can to help you out. Do you have seeds yet? Jim

According to this list there seems to be very little interest in Giant Pumpkin growing in the lovely state of Maryland.

Hi Country Pumpkin,
If you are anywhere near the 301 bridge, then you aren't that far away.
I'm happy to chat about pumpkin growing any time, and if you need some more seeds, just let me know.

Hello, I used to live in Thurmont, MD. To tell you the truth disease kicked my arse every year. Plants would grow well and then disease would kill them after pollination. Could be my ground as it was a garden before I purchased the house. IMO the climate in Md is great for mildew. Hopefully I do better in PA. Good luck
