So here's the deal,,,The 517 looks good if you would like to compare it to a pear...lol. This is one of the oddest shaped pumpkins I, personally, have ever seen. I have been taking measurements on it daily and if it was round, it would be approx. 265 lbs. Another thing that is holding me down is my well. I have to have a new one put in because I have no water pressure at all. Told me they can't get out here for another week or so and my well is constantly running. Who wants my 300.00 light bill? Wish I had a bunch of good news to give you. I guess the good news is, no vine split, no stump rot, stem and blossom looks good,,,just one funny looking thing! I'll try to keep you updated when I have the chance. I start substitue teaching the 3rd week in August at the boys school and I can't wait!

Pear shape looks good to me!! sounds like you have a healthy plant going.take the 517 all the way to 1517 pear shape be darn.
