Basically a well insulated, climate controlled, irrigated greenhouse is all you need. Like they say, you gotta pay to play. I think the intent was that it would be almost impossible to grow a WR, not a larger pumpkin in general.

If I'm getting this conversation, rather then artificial means, I think the goal would be to bread for specific environmental factors (heat, longer growing season, etc) and then back cross a bit. One would think that, in general more sun means more potential??? And if so it will just take time outside of the orange belt??
