Hey Southern growers!
If you still have some competition fruit bring them to the 1st Annual Mountain City, TN Pumpkin Festival Oct. 17-18 with a weigh-off on Sat. Oct. 18 at Noon. Very nice plaques for 1st place Pumpkin and 1st place Squash, cash prizes as well....watermelon contest as well.

Appalachian Mtns.

Weigh-off is at Noon, Sat. Oct. 18.
Registration begins at 9am.
Prize structure is modest since it's the towns first year but $150, $100, and $50....but the winning pumpkin and squash plaques are NICE!
Watermelons are welcome but only ribbons for the Top 3.

Sorry again for another post....also having a "Prettiest" and "Ugliest" contest, as well as a Jack-O-Lantern carving contest.
Very good entertainment, vendors, events....come even if you have an exhibition fruit or just want to visit a beautiful Fall setting in the Appalachian Mtns.!!
