Hello, like I said in your other post in general discussion.
You want to kow about clubs. Kentucky has one and North Carolina has one. Your closest to the weigh off at Elkin NC
was the only reason I mentioned them. You can join any club in the World if you like. Good luck

Have you checked around Allardt, Tn ? There's a pumpkin festival and weigh off there every year. This year is the 19th year.

There used to be the Southern Pumpkin Growers Assoc. I started it a few years back, I actually started this thread as well. I live in Mountain City, TN. I still have some shirts, hats and would like it to revive but don't won't to handle the daily....

Chris Kent started tgpg last year. It was late winter early spring to get a Gpc at Allardt. He may be the one to ask.

Little D, search for smoky mountain pumpkin!!! (There IS a growers group in Tenn)!!!, Chris Kent is his name...and he now hold's the record for the World's Largest Watermelon!!! The best single, piece of advice I could give to you is to be in Richmond, KY on 2/12!!! Peace, Wayne
