Auburn University along with Alabama Cooperative Extension is putting on a growers seminar for competition and commercial growers of pumpkins and watermelon. The date is February 20, 2016 in Cullman, Al. More info will be posted in a week or so. There will be presentations from both competition and commercial speakers.

Auburn university will be presenting on overall production, disease management, insect management for the Southeast. This will be for both watermelons and pumpkins.
We will have growers speaking about their different methods for growing in regards to giant kind and melons.

If anyone is interested in coming please let me know. Auburn researchers do a great job at these seminars. Lunch will be provided. I have asked fellow southern speakers from Tennessee and Alabama to speak. If anyone else wants to share info let me know.
