Ask anyone down here and they will tell you the South doesn't begin until you get to Richmond.

One little known fact is that if the Applachian Mts. were originally rising from North to South, General Grant would have followed his drunken mule either to the ocean or the great lakes. He never would have found Georgia let alone Atlanta. That mule had a nose for mash. Grant felt obligated to test each new source along the way in the interst of keeping his mule healthy.

somthing i learned after i headed south. southern language comes from old english. the closest being the talk spoken by people in the appalachia mountains.
