I am having a difficult time keeping my pumpkins after pollination. They get about the size a grapefruit, get purplish spots, and fall off. I live in central Florida, could it be the heat and humidity? Fungus? Please advise, Colorado grows couldn't help me. It is Big Max Pumpkin seeds.

Just trying to find a picture or a video of what a tertiary vine is and looks like. Everybody’s saying to get rid of them but then they don’t show the viewer what is being taken off.
